Positioning Silver City Brewery in the National Spotlight

What does it take to bring a Washington-based brewery into the media mainstream? Strong relationships with beer, drinks, lifestyle and business media, a robust sampling program, and really good beer

Silver City Brewery has been a prominent name in Western Washington since it was founded in 1996. Now, during a time when gathering and enjoying drinks at a brewery is on pause, Revolution PR strived to bring Silver City into the national spotlight, getting its delicious, innovative beers into the hands of reporters and editors at home, outdoors and wherever they were safely consuming beverages.

During a six-month campaign, Revolution leveraged its craft beer experience and relationships to secure 13 media hits in top-tier national, regional and local publications including Forbes, UPROXX, Brewer Magazine and Seattle PI, totaling more than 35 MILLION impressions. Additionally, Revolution facilitated 20+ media sends to editors and reporters across a variety of verticals including beer, lifestyle, business and daily news, when possible delivering the samples to recipients with flair — in Silver City’s highly memorable, branded T-Hazy van.

As a result of Revolution’s efforts, Silver City Brewery has continued to rise as a thought leader and trailblazer in the world of craft brews, with supporting media coverage to highlight the brewery’s role as one of the most innovative creators of tasty beers both regionally and nationally. The resulting media buzz has paved a way for Silver City to play a larger part in industry conversations and projections, expand awareness and distribution on a national level, and consistently show up for consumers seeking the best beers on the market.
