Elysian Brewing’s third annual Search Party – a charity-driven celebration of the music, artists and beer that keep Seattle’s spirit alive – was its most successful yet, thanks to a multi-pronged PR approach to drive traditional media coverage as well as secure support and earned promotion of the event from our local influencer community. To drive sales and build excitement for the day-long music and beer festival, we first offered top-tier outlets the exclusive opportunity to announce the event’s return, securing a feature story on KING 5 to kick off ticket availability.
Leading up to Search Party, we continued to cultivate excitement and media buzz by securing 18 pieces of local media coverage, utilizing a variety of angles across several verticals and seeking both feature story opportunities as well as “can’t miss” event roundups. To maximize social buzz and secure day-of user generated content, we invited 26 media and influencer attendees to celebrate with us, spanning niches including lifestyle, music, beer and food, ultimately resulting in 112 earned social media placements at the event.
