Promoting Marketplace Events Popular Shows to New Audiences
56 Attending Media | 180+ Local and National Press Hits | 3.6B+ Media Impressions | (What Felt Like) Billions of Beautiful Flowers and Plants
The Northwest Flower & Garden Festival is an annual source of inspiration for seasoned gardeners and beginners alike to gather new ideas for beautiful living spaces. With over 30 display gardens, 100 free seminar workshops, and thousands of treasures in the garden marketplace, it is “the place” to celebrate your “Spring Fever.” For the 2020 festival, Revolution PR partnered with Marketplace Events and its team of sponsors, partners and advocates, to create awareness and buzz along with anticipation and excitement for the show.
Leveraging our local media expertise, in addition to engaging with new digital media to reach more millennials and Gen Z, Revolution secured over 180 pieces of coverage in local, national and international media, including Thrillist, Gardens Illustrated (UK), Narcity and Daily Hive. The team earned the top spot in Better Homes & Gardens’ list of flower and garden shows to “soothe your winter blues.” National media in attendance included HGTV, Fine Gardening, Sunset Magazine, Better Homes & Gardens and Country Gardens. This was a 94% increase in press hits from last year’s event.
Beyond reaching every corner of the media landscape including features on FOX Q13 and KING 5, the team engaged with top influencers in the lifestyle, fashion and floral/gardening spaces. Securing 13 targeted influencers for on-site attendance, we also hosted corresponding ticket giveaways for their followers. Outside of media and influencer partnerships, we supported ticket giveaways with like-minded businesses and organizations throughout the city as well as shared our connections for new exhibitor opportunities.
