Tell us a little bit about yourself: 

Hi, I’m Paige! I recently graduated from the University of Washington, where I majored in Journalism and Public Interest Communication and minored in Data Science. I am from Seattle and love exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. In my free time, I enjoy trying new recipes, being active outside, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.

There are many PR agencies; why Revolution? 

I was drawn to Revolution’s clear mission to promote impact-driven brands through creative and collaborative strategy. It is more important now than ever to support companies making a difference in our world in the form of sustainability, inclusion, and more. I also believe the tight-knit team and close client relationship that Revolution fosters will aid in my success as I begin my journey in the PR industry.

What attracted you to pursue PR as a career?

Through my college coursework, I developed a passion for connecting with people, storytelling, and studying audience behavior. I found PR to be a great combination of these interests, while also having the benefit of working in a fun and collaborative environment. I love the creativity of PR strategy and finding innovative ways to uplift voices making a difference in our communities. I have always been drawn to surprising and unique ways that brands connect with their consumers or other brands, so I am excited to contribute to the industry!

We’re on a mission to do better, be better, and promote a better way to live.  What does this mean for you?

To me, doing better means using my voice and actions to create positive change, whether that’s through supporting causes I care about, being a thoughtful friend or colleague, or just continuing to grow and challenge myself. I believe that Revolution’s women-led team does a great job of creating an environment where everyone feels supported and excited to pursue this growth mindset.

What’s your favorite way to be active? 

My friend and I recently signed up to run a half marathon in the fall, so I have just started training. Aside from running, I love hot yoga and playing pickleball! 

What media outlet (publication, podcast, blog, social account etc.) are you loving right now and why?

I have recently been enjoying Substack. I think it’s a great platform for thoughtful, personal writing that’s easy to connect with. Some of my favorites are Crystal Clear, Who Do You Know?, and Milk Fed.

If you had to choose one thing you are most passionate about, what would it be and why? 

I am most passionate about creating and maintaining meaningful friendships. Having just graduated college, I have been reflecting a lot on how lucky I am to have had such amazing friends to experience it with. As we move away to pursue our own adventures, I am passionate about maintaining these long distance friendships while also making new meaningful connections.
