October Events in Seattle

The sun is still shining here in Seattle, but we can’t help but be in a fall mood! There’s a variety of fall festivities to enjoy in and around Seattle, but here are a few we want to highlight:

Seattle Haunted House - October 6th - November 5th

Spooky season is here… try not to get too scared! Bring a friend and enter if you dare! Recommended for kids 12 and older.

Seattle Cheese and Meat Artisan Food and Beverage Festival - October 8th

Check out the must-try culinary experience of the season! Tickets to the 11 am and 3 pm tastings are available for $85 each. If you can’t choose just one, get an all-access pass for $199 for entry to all tasting sessions. Go find your new favorite artisan cheese!

Seattle Water Lantern Festival - October 8th, 3:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Tickets start at $25.99 and include a wristband for entry into the festival and access to food trucks. It also includes all the tools you need to send off your lantern into the water. Anyone else living out their Tangled dreams?

Chihuly Garden and Glass Gathering - October 13th, 6:30 - 8:00 pm

The Chihuly Museum is hosting a gathering event to honor how Seattle is the heart of the U.S. studio glass art movement! The event includes entry to Chihuly Garden and Glass, live demonstrations, signature cocktails and small bites, reception in the Glasshouse, and more fun activities!

Halloween Train - Weekends, October 15th - 30th

Enjoy the changing colors, the scents of fall and the taste of apple cider as you ride this two hour round-trip train journey! Great for children and adults - everyone two years and older needs a ticket.

Murder Mystery Play - October 21st - November 6th (Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, Sundays at 2:00)

Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express is being performed at Tacoma Little Theatre. Go experience and enjoy a suspenseful and thrilling show!

Indian Festival of Lights - October 22nd, 12 pm - 6 pm

Celebrate the victory of light over darkness at Diwali! This festival of lights will have traditional Indian food, classical and folk dances, henna and more. And the best part? The event is free!

Pumpkin Carving in the Cat Lounge - October 22nd and October 28th

Anyone else enjoy carving pumpkins but hate the clean up? For two Saturdays only, carve pumpkins without worrying about the clean up AND hang out with cats. Buy tickets now for only $36!

Seattle Restaurant Week - October 23rd - November 5th

Celebrate and support the amazing restaurants around you! Seattle Restaurant Week highlights the diverse cuisine in Seattle and allows you to enjoy curated menus for a great price.

Harvest Festival - October 30th

Come see what fall is all about at the Harvest festival. There will be live music, chili contests, pie eating contests, face painting and so much more!
