Tacoma Home + Garden Show

Tacoma Home + Garden Show, the favorite resource for home improvement ideas and inspiration for Tacoma homeowners, is returning to the Tacoma Dome from January 23-26, 2020. Discount coupons to save at the box office are available online.

Lucky Envelope Chinese New Year Celebration

Kick off the Year of the Rat this weekend at Lucky Envelope Brewing with special brews like Mijiaya Historic Chinese Beer (brewed from an ancient recipe) and Metal Rat Hazy IPA (a collaboration made with the Chinese American–owned Highland Brewing in Asheville). The Ballard brewery will also host Panda Dim Sum, serving up Chinese bites from a refurbished school bus. Guests can test their luck and try to snag one of 88 red envelopes filled with special surprises daily.

Flatstick Pub’s Pioneer Square 2020 .5k Fun Run

Grab your friends, get into a fun costume, slip on your running shoes, and head to Occidental Park for Flatstick Pub’s fourth annual .5k fun run (yes, that’s half a kilometer). Race check-in starts this Saturday, Jan. 25 at 11:30am. Post-race fun at Flatstick Pub includes unlimited minigolf, a duffleboard challenge, and dance party with DJ!
