Why We’re Loving These New Greens from organicgirl
Each Wednesday, we take a little break from the hustle and bustle of the day to have lunch as a team. The recipe changes based on what we have in our refrigerators at home to contribute (not wasting food and enjoying a team lunch is a win, win!), but we ALWAYS make a salad and ALWAYS start with a base of our favorite organicgirl greens.
Lately, this has been organicgirl’s new Rebel Greens and Protein Greens.
organicgirl’s new Protein Greens combine tender sweet pea leaves, which are naturally higher in protein, with other baby greens like spinach and kale for a nutritious, powerful one-two punch. With 5g protein in each clamshell, we love the extra protein boost to fuel our afternoon!
Since we’re in the midst of summer, we paired our greens with fresh strawberries, cherry tomatoes, sliced bell peppers and a creamy avocado!
Next, the new Rebel Greens. Move over kale, we’ve got a new favorite dark, leafy green☺ (Did anyone ever like kale anyway?) Made from 100% baby boy choy, these greens are not only great in salads, but sautés as well! Not tough, not bitter (ahem, kale) Rebel Greens have inspired us to kick our kale habit to the curb and fire up new and exciting recipes.
Our friend Kendall of Kiss My Wheatgrass, sautéed the Rebel Greens with zucchini noodles, herbs and roasted cherry tomatoes. We’re drooling over this simple, summer recipe!
