New Website Design: Herban Feast

Herban Feast is Seattle’s most well-known catering and events company, presenting a wide range of services for weddings and celebrations. The award-winning caterer offers innovative, delicious menus that pair locally-sourced ingredients with exceptional service and distinctive presentations. Herban Feast’s distinct venues, Sodo Park and The Foundry, have been recognized for their uniqueness – Sodo Park was named one of the 22 coolest places to get married in America. And, the company’s Herban Design Studio offers clients expert design guidance and beautiful styling for every event. Check out wedding décor tips from the studio’s creative director, Nicole Haynes, on King 5. In addition to catering and events, Herban Feast’s West Seattle restaurant, Fresh Bistro, has become a local neighborhood favorite for its bistro-style menus featuring a fresh take on traditional comfort foods, its popular “Monday Night Steak Night” feasts, and delicious brunch menu. We are proud to be Herban Feast’s longstanding PR partner and played an integral role in their growth into a full-service catering and events company. This past fall we determined the company needed to update their web presence to clearly reflect its complete service offering. With the new site our design and development team set out to:
  • Create a simplified architecture for showcasing Herban Feast’s many services
  • Make navigation intuitive
  • Tell the Herban Feast story visually
  • Ensure the site would translate well across all devices
  • Make updating the site easy
We also wanted to make sure to showcase Herban Feast’s amazing partners – from event planners to photographers, DJs to linen rentals. To do this, we created a “featured partner” section that will rotate monthly with a new featured partner. hf-blog-1 We brightened the brand's color palette to complement the original earthy tones and simplified the photo gallery section with a tag cloud that makes searching for photo inspiration fun. hf_blog-2 Click through to check out the new site for yourself and tell us what you think!
